A glimpse at the IAR Annual Symposium on NDT and Corrosion Testing

We are excited to announce the first look at our fantastic itinerary for this year’s event here at IMechE Argyll Ruane in Sheffield.
Doors open at 8:30 am where you can enjoy a free hot breakfast and have a chance for a little networking. We will then be hitting the ground running with a warm welcome from our GM Chris Kirby.
The initial introduction is followed up by a prestigious list of top speakers from BINDT, Rolls-Royce, GKN, IMechE, ICorr and others, including presentations and a panel debate with five phased array UT OEMs.
There is also an exhibition from ICorr and NDT OEMs, showcasing their recent equipment developments.
Quality free hot catering will be provided again this year which will ease attendees nicely into the afternoon talks and panel discussion.
Around 14:10 the panel discussion will begin. This year’s debate is on ‘The challenges for the adoption of the new developments in phased array’, chaired by Iain Baillie of Rolls-Royce plc. Definitely something you should attend if you want to hear how the major PA OEMs see the future.
There will be great networking opportunities, with tours of our facilities and refreshments available throughout the day.
