The launch of the PCI Level 2 course in China marks a pivotal achievement, advancing inspector training standards within the region. Through planning and collaborative efforts, our global partner, TÜV Rheinland, has delivered a tailored course precisely designed to address the unique requirements of the market in Asia.

Leading this course was Tiger, an expert in the coatings industry with over 5 years of training experience at TÜV Rheinland. Tiger’s wealth of knowledge enriched the training sessions, reaffirming TUV’s dedication to providing top training.

Looking ahead, plans are underway for further PCI courses in collaboration with TÜV Rheinland, including the addition of PCI Level 3 courses later this year. These initiatives expand our offerings to include Insulation Inspector and PFP Courses, catering to diverse industry needs.

The course curriculum included topics such as quality assurance, inspection methodologies, interpretation of industry standards, and more. Practical sessions emphasised hands-on experience with equipment and testing methodologies, reinforcing key concepts.

Training Protective Coating Inspectors in China yields numerous benefits for the industry and the nation. From improved quality control and safety standards to increased efficiency and global competitiveness. Moreover, these courses provide individuals with valuable career opportunities in the coatings industry while promoting environmental protection.

The successful completion of the PCI Level 2 course signifies a significant milestone in elevating training standards within the Chinese market. It sets the stage for ongoing collaboration and advancements in inspector education and certification, driving progress and excellence in the industry.
