Alex Garner is a Coating Specialist with over 30 years’ international offshore and onshore corrosion engineering experience.
He has office and field-based coating expertise on onshore/ offshore sites with clients including Chevron, Inpex (Total), BP, ExxonMobil, Shell, AGIP, BHP and Woodside as well with engineering contractors including Intecsea, Wood, KBR and Bechtel.
Major high profile offshore projects have included ConocoPhillips Belanak and BP Block 18 FPSOs where marine and offshore coating qualification of high integrity coatings and passive fire protection were carried out in China and Korea respectively.
Alex was an approved tutor for the IRMII certified subsea insulation course and now provides ICorr training for Level 2 and Level 3 Passive Fire Protection (PFP) Coating Inspector courses.
