Some of our trainers had the opportunity to ‘have a play’ with some new equipment last week at IMechE Argyll Ruane.
TraiNDE is software that has been designed to mix virtual scanning with the reality of pushing and manipulating a UT probe. Possible uses could include trade tests, demonstrations and of course training.
Here at IMechE Argyll Ruane we are keen to embrace technological changes in the NDT world and it is great to see new developments such as these and understand how they can be utilised within a training environment.
